It took two hilarious, Nate Berkus obsessed bloggers, The Moggit Girls, to start nothing short of a Nate Berkus revolution on the blogosphere today. First, they suggested to him (via Twitter) that he do an episode on Design Bloggers. To strengthen their argument, they convinced almost 150 design bloggers (at last count) to make June 14th Nate Berkus Day and to post their favorite photos of rooms he's designed. Many bloggers have photoshopped photos of themselves posing with Nate - and many more have mentioned that the show premieres September 13th. This is a great example of the organic power of social media - and how passion for a property can be harnessed for promotion. Now, he better have those Moggit girls on his show since you know what they say: Hell hath no fury like a blogger scorned.
