If you are wondering what 2011 and beyond will look like, The Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum has announced their 2010 National Design Award Winners. Among this year's winners were Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the design duo behind Rodarte in the Fashion Design category; James Corner Field Operations, who built the New York High Line, in Landscape Design; and Smart Design, creators of OXO Good Grips line in the Product Design category. We can all appreciate the visionaries who make the world a little more pleasant to look at.
